Winnie Loo | Founder, and Senior Creative Director
As the founder herself, Winnie conducts a monthly 2-day seminar in Trends Workshop to share with the students on the latest trends, skills and cutting edge knowledge in the global hairdressing industry.

Peter Wong | Director of Operations
An experienced industry technical expert and business development specialist, Mr. Wong is in charge of the overall administration of the Academy’s development, student’s performance standards, and fundamentals expansion of the education team and members.

Kathy Tan | Principal
Ms. Tan, who is the Principal of the Academy, oversees the student’s performance and examination standards. She also looks into the students’ personal welfare.

Marcus Goh | Senior Educator
Marcus Goh, the fastest rising educator in the Academy. Joined A Cut Above Academy as a student in 2004, and has proven to be an outstanding student, in which we took him in as an apprentice educator. With his inspirational teachings in City and Guilds, Marcus Goh earned the promotion as Senior Educator in 2006.

Linda Hatta | Senior Educator
Finalist in the Schwarzkopf Hairdressing Awards finalist - 2004
Ms. Hatta, a popular stylist from the evergreen A Cut Above salon in Bangsar Shopping Centre was specially brought in to join the Academy to share her invaluable skills in the hairdressing trade. Ms. Hatta is also in charge of the day to day activities of the Academy.

James Wong | Senior Educator
Winner of the 1997’s Pantene Asia Pacific Hairdresser Award, and a make-up guru himself. With his inborn talents in creativity, Mr. Wong heads the Academy’s presentation in Hairshows and events.

Celia Tham | Senior Educator
The youngest of all senior educators, Ms. Tham is the First winner of the renowned Redken Idol competition in 2005 and is proud to be the first Malaysian to pass the City & Guilds Advanced Diploma. She is responsible in conducting Trends Workshop alongside the founder Winnie Loo. Ms. Tham in her own creative and non conforming ways, has earned her the position to create trends which is very much respected by the trade.
